Along with an A.D.S. signed with his initials ""B.A."" 1p. 8vo., [n.p., Oct. 1882], titled ""Extract from letter of Sir Chas. Hartley...Civil Engineer..."", in part: ""...I would have been still more satisfied with it (the Gen order) if special mention had been made of the leading part he took in bringing about the successful achievement of one of the greatest engineering triumphs of the day...the opening of the Mississippi mouth..."".
