<p><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'>ALPHONSE CAPONE </span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial; color:windowtext'>Alphonse “Scarface” Capone (1899-1947) once declared, “The income tax law is a lot of bunk. The government can’t collect legal taxes from illegal money,” and became the most powerful crime boss of his day. He ruled Chicago at the age of 26 and with only an eighth grade education. Bold signature “<i>Al Capone</i>” in green ink on album page, 5¼"x4", stamped Feb 15, 1931, in blue ink. Obtained when he encountered Capone at a restaurant, this signature was part of a Florida newspaperman’s autograph book. The autograph of boxer </span><b><span style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext; text-transform:uppercase'>Johnny Risko</span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'> (1902-1953) appears on verso in same green ink with same date stamp. Binding perforations in right margin, o/w VG.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.

to Signature House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire transfer
details are available upon request. West Virginia residents will pay a
sales tax of 6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA a

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within seven day
providing that it comes back in the same condition. There is a

expert authenticators acceptable to both parties.
