ALMOHAD: Abu Muhammad 'Abd Al-Mu'min Ibn 'Ali (1130-1163), silver square 1/2 dirham (0.77g), Bijaya mint, AH 524-558. Obverse "al-hamdu lillahi rab al-'alamin" ("praise to Allah, lord of the worlds"), reverse "abu muhammad 'abd al-mu'min ibn 'ali amir al-mu'mineen bijaya" ("Abu Muhammad 'Abd Al-Mu'min Ibn 'Ali, Commander of the Faithful, Bijaya"). A-481.2 (RRR). Very good. Extremely rare.

Album reports that square 1/2 dirhams with mint names are extremely rare and we were not able to pinpoint any recent auction records of this mint for the 1/2 dirhams of 'Abd Al-Mu'min.
