ALLMAN BROTHERS FILLMORE EAST CLOSING PROGRAM & MORE, 1971 (2)
After three years of presenting concerts at the Fillmore East, Bill Graham closed the doors to his New York City venue, but not before presenting a final weekend of shows, culminating in the finale on June 27, 1971. The sounds of the Allman Brothers Band, The Beach Boys, Mountain, Albert King and the J. Geils Band filled the Fillmore East on that final night. The Allman's performance was preserved with the double-album, "At Fillmore East," released less than a month after the finale. This 36-pg. program is filled with band biographies, ads, and tributes to Graham and his staff. (EX., back cover corner crease). Also included in this lot is a 20.pg. program for the summer series of concerts at Atlantic City's Steel Pier. Acts included the Allman Brothers, Curtis Knight, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, Chuck Berry, Four Seasons, Jackie DeShannon, Eric Burdon & War, and many others. (Scattered wrinkles, cover wear).

Estimate: $75 - 100.
