Swan, for Vernor and Hood, 1803FIRST EDITION, with engraved frontispiece by Greig after Burney, pages (10), x, 129, (1, blank), without the advert leaf at end, large 12mo, antique style half dark red morocco over marbled boards : with a small name stamp in three places, but still an attractive copy.An attractive copy of the only edition of a scarce work : a poem in honour of John Fitzgibbon, First Earl of Clare (1749-1802), a didactic work about the qualities of an exemplary judge.
