Saturday Live/Online Auction note:
The sale is going to start at lot 500(Restricted) and proceed in order. Lots 1-121 (Prohibted) will be sold at the end of the sale.
The Auctioneer reserves the right to change the bid increments during the Live Auction once the sale goes live.
If you change your credit card or shipping information after you sign up for the auction you will need to contact us. Icollector only forwards information at the time of registration it does not forward changes. Address shipping changes can be sent to admin@switzersauction.com .
All items from all Sessions will be billed and shipped together when possible. However we can't ship Ammunition and Firearms of the same caliber together.
All payments are due immediately following the auction. Your credit card will be charged on Oct 19th after completion of the sale. This is an automated system.
If we are unable to process your credit card you will receive a second email with a notice to contact auctioneer. Recurring late payers will be charged a $25.00 Collection fee, and may be banned from future sales.
As we are selling Firearms and Ammunition it is imperative that bidders/customers provide us their correct information. We require your full correct name as on your PAL, License #, Date Of Birth, Mailing address that is associated with your PAL. Customers who fail to do so, or who need the paperwork restarted due to an error on their part will be charged an administrative fee of $25.00 per lot. If you have made an error and need to correct it. Please email admin@switzersauction.com
Bid retractions will only be permitted when we have made a gross description error, obvious customer bid input errors ($5000.00 instead of $500.00). Please email admin@switzersauction.com prior to bidding with any questions.

We charge HST or GST based on which province your item is being shipped to. This will be 5% BC, AB, SK, MB, QU, YT, NWT, NU, 13% ON, 15% PEI, NS, NFL, NB,
USA and International no Canadian Taxes will be charged by us. But you may be charged Taxes and Duties from your government.

SHIPMENTS: Shipping Information
All items are sent by Canada Post, CANPAR or UPS depending on location, size of parcel and regulations.
Items will be insured and a signature required. (unless under $100 and going by letter mail)
Ammunition and Firearms must be shipped to an address on file with the CFO or to a Courier Depot.
We can ship ammunition within Canada ONLY.
Ammunition has to be shipped CANPAR or UPS. This also requires you to give us a physical address, not a PO Box #. Ammunition must be sent to the address on file with the CFO, or to a Courier Depot.
Ammunition is heavy and therefore a minimum charge would be roughly $30.00 to ship.
Shipping charge will be determined after preparation.
Ammunition and firearms of the same caliber will need to be shipped separately.
Cost to ship a firearm can vary based on value. An example of a $400.00 firearm going to Alberta would cost $55- $65 to ship.
You will be emailed a tracking number to your email on file, when your parcel is sent out. Please check your junk email; this email will come from the shipping company.
Your credit card will be charged before the parcel leaves.
If you require an invoice with the actual shipping charge, or have not received your tracking # and notice the charge on your credit card please email admin@switzersauction.com and one will be emailed to you.
In the event that your parcel is returned to us, you will be charged for the return fee.
How we calculate shipping.
You will be charged for the actual cost of shipping.
Box & Handling fee of $7.50 - $15.00 per box, depending on size of box.
Insurance on the value of your parcel at a rate of $2.50 per 100, with the first $100 being free. eg. $900.00 value would cost $20.00 in Insurance
Tax for your area.
For small items under $100.00 that will fit in an envelope for Canada Post Regulations on Letter Mail, we will charge a flat fee of $10.00. There will be no insurance on these items. If you require insurance we can ship these in a box. If you would want your items boxed instead of in an envelope please email admin@switzersauction.com at the completion of the auction.
USA BUYERS: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PERMITS AND CUSTOMS, DUTY CHARGES IF APPLICABLE! Your purchases will be shipped once we have received import documents from you. U.S.A. requires a completed ATF Form 6 completed by a licensed FFL Dealer. NOTE: NOT ALL ITEMS CAN BE SHIPPED TO THE U.S.A. SO BUYERS BEWARE. Contact ATF at (304) 616-4550 for more info, or your local authority. Shipping a firearm to the U.S. ranges from $100+. We will not ship ammunition to the USA.
International Buyers (other than USA): We are not able to ship ammunition or "any" class of firearm Internationally (other then USA) directly to you. If you would like to purchase firearms from us. We may be able to assist you with a 3rd party exporter who may be able to export these items. This is a costly procedure. Not all items are able to be exported to all countries. Buyer beware that Bidders have sole responsibility for their purchases. If an item has been purchased and the bidder is unable to import lots, the item or items will be sold at our next auction. Original buyer will be charged a commission on the resale.
Payment Details:

We only receive the information given when you first sign up for the auction. If you update your credit card information you will need to call us at 1-800-694-2609 to give us the new information.
International buyers may be required to pay by "WIRE Transfer"
Accepted Payment Methods:
CANADA BIDDERS: All Firearms and Ammunition sales will require a valid P.A.L. to purchase. Firearm registration applies to all restricted and prohibited firearms purchased for Canadians except firearms classified as antique and non-restricted. All restricted and prohibited firearms will have their transfer started on sale day.
U.S. and INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: Have sole responsibility for their purchases. Please check with your FFL and/or ATF regarding import of specific items.
Please note that we do not ship AMMUNITION to US or international buyers.
US Buyers will be charged a $50.00 administrative fee on all Firearms sales. This is to cover the cost of the required paperwork to export the items to you.
Storage fees of $5.00 per item per month will be charged on all items that we have not received paperwork for within 120 days of the sale. If you are unable to complete the required paperwork within 1 year your lots will be sold at the next auction. You will be charged a commission on the resale.
ALL BIDDERS:
BUYERS PREMIUM & TAXES: All items purchased online are subject to a 15% buyers premium. Taxes in Canada are listed in 'Payment Instructions'. Item(s) purchased and shipped outside of Canada are not subject to taxes, however you may be responsible for customs or duty charges.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: The highest bidder shall be the purchaser and the decision of the auctioneer relating to all matters is final. All sales are final and not subject to conditions. All merchandise is sold in an 'As Is' condition without recourse to the vendor. All goods advertised or displayed are subject to withdrawal prior to sale within the discretion of the auctioneer. The Auctioneers may reject a bid at their discretion without reason or explanation.
RESERVES: All items in this auction are sold unreserved. Consignors are not authorized to bid on their own items nor have someone bid on their behalf. We reserve the right to withdraw any items or bids by the offending consignor.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
Except as expressly provided above, all property is sold “As Is'. Switzer's Auction nor the Consignor makes any representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the title, merchantability, fitness or condition of the property or as to the correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or period of the property or as to whether the purchaser acquires any copyrights or other intellectual property rights in lots sold or as to whether a work of art is subject to the artist's moral rights or other residual rights of the artist. All Firearms and Ammunition are sold as Collector lots only. Fitness to fire or otherwise discharge the arm or ammunition is expressly denied by Switzer's Auction. A competent Gunsmith should be consulted before attempting to use or fire any Firearm or Ammunition. The Purchaser expressly acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall Switzer's Auction be liable for any damages including without limitation any compensatory, incidental or consequential damages.
