ALBUM OF PHOTOGRAPHS - LINCOLNSHIRE 1875-1880. Album containing approx. 84 photographs mostly made in Horbling, Billingborough and the surrounding areas. The photographs depict considerable village activity incl. tennis parties and several varieties of local transport (these include some highly unusual four-wheel cycles). Schools, railway stations and street scenes figure prominently. Also the 1st Lincolnshire Volunteers. Many of the villagers photographed are named and all pictures are captioned and some are dated. Folio, cont, morocco gilt. Rubbed & a little scuffed. (1)
