<B>ALASKAN DALL SHEEP SHOULDER MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Ovis dalli</B></I><BR>This ram is from the Wrangell Mountains of Alaska. The Dall Sheep is pure white with amber horns and hoofs. They live in alpine country, including glacier edges, just below the permanent snowline. The characteristic elements of their habitat are steep, rugged cliffs and rocky outcroppings, useful for escape from predators, with nearby meadows for feeding.
