A good pair of letters, the first, a fine content A.L.S. of <b>FREDERICK LOEWE</b> ( 1904-1988) "<i>Fritz</i>", 2pp. 4to., [New York] July 15, 1956 to "<i>Ronny</i>" noting his return from Europe: <i>"....I just had to leave New York before the avalanche of request for house seats [likely for My Fair Lady which opened on March 15, 1956] - It's only one week since I am back again I have to flee. - to London first - and back to France. You have no idea what goes on. Just imagine, - there are 30 tickets for standing room sold every day for that night. People line up at 5 AM to be there when the B.O. opens at 10.am. All this is very wonderful and exciting - however you are having a miserable time in the meantime. Just rememberÉmore months and it will be all over - and the tough period you are going through now will be of enormous benefit later in lift...When you come back - we two will sit down together and plan what should be done to get you into the theatre...</i>".
