In his book <I>Hirschfeld on Line,</B></I> on page 218, the artist wrote "This is one time I got to use use color while drawing from my TV set. These four covers of the four principals of the <I>Seinfeld</B></I> show -- smug Jerry Seinfeld, misanthropic Jason Alexander, smarmy Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and loony Michael Richards (I'm referring to their characters) were printed on four different versions of the <I>TV Guide</B></I> that week. So fans could buy the copy featuring their favorite character, or as I'm sure the marketing people at <I>TV Guide</B></I> hoped and prayed, collectors would buy all four and have the complete set.
