Seme knife of the Massai Tribe of Africa. Mid to later 20th Cantury make, as the blade is remade from a cut down jungle knife made by Martindale of Birmingham, England (as can be seen by the crocodile logo and faded lettering on blade). Martindale knives were often issued to Allied troops in Africa, the Pacific, and other tropical regions during WWII. Seme has 15 inch double sided blade, with leather wrapped grip. Leather scabbard, with decorative beading on strap. Blade shows light surface rust.
