It is largely nocturnal and solitary, feeding mainly on birds, hares, monkeys, and rodents. A good tree-climber, these cats are able to go long periods of time without water. This example is from the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. The taxidermy quality is very good and is presented on a diorama base.
