Issued in the UK in January 1980, AC/DC’s “Touch Too Much” single (catalog number K 11435) captures the band at full throttle during the Bon Scott era. Released on Atlantic Records, this unique 7" features a rare format. Side A plays at 45 RPM with the title track “Touch Too Much,” while Side B runs at 33⅓ RPM and includes two blistering live performances: “Live Wire” and “Shot Down in Flames.” These live tracks were recorded during AC/DC’s 1979 European tour and showcase the band’s explosive stage presence at the peak of their Highway to Hell momentum. Produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange, this single marked the final UK release before Bon Scott’s untimely passing. A standout in the band’s catalog, it offers a powerful blend of polished studio production and raw live energy, making it an essential piece for any AC/DC fan or vinyl collector.
