A fascinating glimpse into early ‘80s AC/DC promotion, this set includes an original July 9, 1982 letter on “The Source” letterhead, NBC Radio’s Young Adult Network, sent from Racheal M. Eraca (Advertising & Promotion) to Perry Cooper, Director of Artist Development at Atlantic Records.

In the letter, Eraca forwards multiple copies of a striking AC/DC ad repro for “your files,” noting it’s “not only a great looking ad, it’s also a great promotion piece!” and thanking Atlantic for their cooperation.

The set features:

Typed, signed original letter on official NBC stationery
Clean ad copy print of the AC/DC promo (“Rock ’N’ Roll All Weekend”)
Full‑size, 14.5" x 11" folded magazine tear sheet with the same ad, showing AC/DC live photos and the “Rock ’N’ Roll All Weekend” tagline, torn directly from the publication
The ad touts AC/DC tracks like “Back in Black,” “Dirty Deeds,” and “For Those About to Rock,” plugging the band’s music as part of The Source’s holiday weekend programming.
