An underground clash of rock legends! This rare unofficial LP titled The Battle features AC/DC and The Doors sharing wax in a bootleg showdown. Side A is dedicated to unreleased and alternate recordings by The Doors, including early mixes, promo singles, and obscure tracks from the Rick & The Ravens era. Side B brings the thunder with a raw live set by AC/DC recorded in Mannheim, Germany, featuring “Highway to Hell,” “T.N.T.,” and a fiery Angus Young guitar solo.

Issued by IFPI Records (LP 0001) and marked "Made in West Germany," this pressing originated in Hamburg and includes liner notes in German apologizing for audio quality and pricing quirks, a telltale sign of early bootleg pressings.

The sleeve art is as gritty as the grooves, Angus rocking out in a domestic setting with a portrait of Jim Morrison watching from the wall. A rare and eccentric piece for collectors chasing crossover oddities and European press rarities.
