Here’s the thunderous LP that turned the volume up on everything, Let There Be Rock, AC/DC’s fourth studio album and a defining moment in hard rock history. This is the original UK pressing, catalog number K 50366, released in 1977 on Atlantic Records. Pressed in the UK, this edition features the iconic green and orange Atlantic labels and plays at 33⅓ RPM.

From the pounding opening of “Go Down” to the blistering title track and the unforgettable closer “Whole Lotta Rosie,” this record captures AC/DC in their rawest, most electrified state. The album marks a pivotal shift from the band’s earlier bluesy roots to a heavier, more aggressive sound, one that would become their signature. It’s also one of the last studio albums to feature bassist Mark Evans.

Standout Moment: The UK version includes the full 6:10 uncut version of “Let There Be Rock,” unlike some international editions which were slightly trimmed. That makes this pressing not only sonically pure, but a favorite among die-hard fans and collectors.

The sleeve artwork captures AC/DC in full stage mayhem, with Angus Young in motion mid-riff, a perfect visual for an album that celebrates the sheer power of live, loud, riff-driven rock 'n' roll.
