Presented here is an extremely rare mispressing of AC/DC’s 1977 album Let There Be Rock, issued in the UK on Atlantic Records, catalog number K 50366. This copy carries the standard sleeve and green-and-orange Atlantic labels, but the pressing itself contains a unique error: both sides of the record play the Side One track listing (“Go Down,” “Dog Eat Dog,” “Let There Be Rock,” and “Bad Boy Boogie”). Side Two, which should feature “Overdose,” “Crabsody in Blue,” “Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be,” and “Whole Lotta Rosie,” is absent, making this a highly unusual and desirable misprint for serious collectors. This anomaly represents a fascinating manufacturing mistake from Atlantic’s UK pressing plant during the late 1970s, adding rarity and historical interest to an already legendary hard rock release.
