This is an original 1978 U.S. promotional copy of If You Want Blood You’ve Got It by AC/DC, issued by Atlantic Records under catalog number SD 19212. Marked boldly with "Promotional Copy – Not For Sale" on the top left of the front cover and featuring a large white Atlantic Records hype sticker with suggested cuts and track times, this version was circulated only to radio stations and industry insiders ahead of the album’s commercial release.

Pressed on the classic green and orange Atlantic label, this first U.S. pressing captures AC/DC in their rawest, most explosive live form. Recorded during their 1978 Powerage tour, the album features Bon Scott at his ferocious best, delivering relentless versions of “Riff Raff,” “Whole Lotta Rosie,” “Let There Be Rock,” and more. The cover image, Angus Young being “impaled” by his own Gibson SG, remains one of the most iconic visuals in rock history, while the reverse shows the aftermath in true AC/DC fashion.

Promotional issues of this LP are far scarcer than their retail counterparts and hold a special place among collectors, especially those focused on Bon Scott-era material. A hard-hitting classic and a standout rarity from one of rock’s most electrifying live albums.
