This is an original 1985 U.S. promotional copy of AC/DC’s Fly on the Wall, released by Atlantic Records under catalog number 81263-1-E. Pressed on the brown Atlantic label and clearly marked “Lent for Promotional Use Only” on the front cover, this version was issued exclusively to radio and industry insiders and was never intended for retail sale. A large hype sticker highlights the featured tracks: “Danger,” “Shake Your Foundations,” “Sink the Pink,” and “Stand Up.”

Housed in a sleeve designed to resemble a cartoon wooden wall, the cover art includes AC/DC’s logo, a mischievous fly, and a peering eye, all nods to the album’s title and gritty tone. The reverse features snapshot-style band photos and a full track listing.

The LP includes its original printed inner sleeve, complete with full lyrics. This album marked a shift toward a heavier, more stripped-back production following Flick of the Switch, and features the lineup of Brian Johnson, Angus and Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams, and drummer Simon Wright.

Promotional pressings like this one are increasingly difficult to find, especially with the hype sticker and inner sleeve intact , making it a killer addition to any serious AC/DC collection.
