This scrapbook, assembled by AC/DC archivist and collector Aaron Baker, captures the pivotal transition between the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and Back in Black eras. The collection includes original news clippings, ticket stubs, fold-out poster, itinerary sheets, and photographs documenting the band from the late Bon Scott years into Brian Johnson’s arrival as frontman. Of particular note is a fascinating period news article speculating that Stevie Wright of the Easybeats would become AC/DC’s new lead singer following Scott’s death—a rare glimpse into the uncertainty surrounding the band at that time. Also featured are press pieces announcing Brian Johnson as Bon’s replacement, coverage of the Back in Black release, and imagery of AC/DC on stage during this historic period. A compelling archival record, the scrapbook preserves AC/DC’s resilience and reinvention during one of the most significant chapters in their career.
