This is a six-page “File Copy” from Atlantic Records concerning AC/DC, consisting of a typed letter and accompanying press clippings. Dated October 14, 1980, the letter from Stu Ginsburg, Director of National Publicity, was sent to Peter Mensch in London and enclosed additional AC/DC clips for reference. The attached clippings include period reviews and articles covering AC/DC’s performances and their Back in Black album, with pieces from newspapers such as the Daily Times and Baton Rouge State Times. Together, this set provides unique documentation of how AC/DC’s landmark release and live shows were reported in the press, preserved in the label’s own publicity files during the height of the band’s early 1980s success.
