This is a beautiful cut glass American Brilliant Period water goblet in the S Repeat pattern. This goblet is most likly the product of one of the American Brilliant Period cut glass houses of the time. Such as Hawkes and Dorflinger. This full flint glass goblet is 6" tall and 3-1/4" in diameter at the rim. The stuck on foot is 3-1/8" in diameter with a cut rayed base. The cut stem is an hour glass shape with an air trap bubble. This goblet was made in three pieces and stuck together; The foot, the stem and the bowl. Then when cooled the cutting was excecuted. This was expensive piece of glass to produce. This goblet weighs 15.4 oz., almost a pound and rings like a church bell when tapped. There may be some small bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks.
