A very fine Japanese Satsuma covered urn. Oviform body with elongated narrow neck, decorated on crackled beige ground with martial scenes. Applied Fo Dogs handles. Domed cover decorated with relief gilt scrolling and mounted with a large Fo Dog. Raised on a circular stand with similar decorations. 44" high. Together with a carved blackwood stand. 4500-5000
