A suite comprising a circular table and two armchairs, Model No. A 811,
designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1929 for Thonet Mundus, ivory lacquered bent beechwood (restored), the seat and backrest covered with canework, (table) height 53 cm, diametre 63 cm, (chair) height 76 cm, width 51 cm, depth 51 cm, height of seat 41 cm.
The chair design goes back to a competition held by Thonet Mundus in 1929 aimed at gathering new creative impulses for the bentwood production. This chair model has also been attributed to Josef Frank and Oswald Haerdtl.
