A set of large 20th century Cloissonne examples. This set from the collection of the late Dorothy Peterson from Virginia was created in the enamel technique known as Cloissonne. Each example is slightly different suggesting these were hand made. The abstract design and patterns are beautifully done in red and black with a touch of brown or green enamel work. All square and enameled on a silvered backing.
