A scarce and desirable Smith & Wesson Model K38 Combat masterpiece with U.S.A.F. markings on left side of frame and original Military holster serial #K740791. The revolver shows Baughman type front sight. The revolverretains 85-95% original blue, thinning at muzzle and high points from being carried in holster. The grips are good with small chips and wear at the heel and edges. The markings are sharp, edges crisp, bore bright. 75-85% case hardening on hammer and trigger. The action is tight. The holster is Military marked and in very good condition with normal carry and wear. A seldom encountered U.S. Martial issue from theVietnam era. Est.; $1,750-$3,500.
