A rare late 17 century Italian large bore wild-fowling piece, the three stage barrel signed Lazarino Cominazzi, with brass back and fore sights, pierced barrel loop and fore end, brass trigger guard and side plate, the walnut half stock with hooked forward grip; extensive worm damage, missing ramrod 69in. long Lazarino Cominazzi was one of the best Italian barrel makers of the seventeenth century. Exhibited; Recently displayed in the gun room at Pollok House, Glasgow. £800-1,000
