A rare Austro-Hungarian railroad officer sword with all brass mounts and decorated with railroad wheel motifs. This type of sword was only issued higher ranking railroad officers. Nickel plated blade marked Carl Eickhorn Solingen. Late 19thcentury. Good condition, all brass mounts have dark patina, leather on scabbard worn and stitching has come loose on back, nickel plated blade spotted. Measures 35”. Est.: $500-$600.
