A partial card of assorted material early buttons
23 S/M/L mostly 18th century and early 19th century buttons. Here is a TERRIFIC card of buttons with some we had thought to sell individually but in the end decided to leave the card Jean Young had put together in this way. The lot includes a wonderful lavender faux Wedgwood enamel snowflake DF on a patterned domed brass late 18th century example, wood and steel, some beautiful and striking paste jeweled strass crystal buttons, colonial pearl, copper, Tombac and other metal, repousse wood back and more. Look closely this is a great group. Were probably crazy for not breaking all of this up into separate lots but this is your opportunity to buy some nice examples all in one lot. Notice the scarce small 18th century copper and steel at the top pf the card, smalls are truly hard to find.
