A pair of unusual antique French gilt bronze mounted porcelain covered vases. The floriform vases with narrow waist and square gilt bronze base hand painted on two medallions by Miguel with a serenading young noble man and woman, respectively. Within heavy green painted and gilt relief scroll borders. With mounted floral ribbon gilt bronze handles. 19 1/2" high.
