A pair of late 19th century Sevres style oval porcelain plaques depicting respectively the Princesses Sophie and Charlotte in naturalistic enamel colours and with blue border heightened with gilding, each in oval scrolling giltwood frame with beaded edge and bellflower border with foliate scrolling head and fruit moulded foot. Height including frame 12.5ins., width 9.5ins. (see illustration)
