A pair of early "Safari" armchairs, Scandinavia, 1930s, the design attributed to Kaare Klint or Arne Norrel, plain oak, olive green canvas, leather strap armrests, height 98 cm, depth 62 cm, width 55 cm, height of seat 32 cm, original condition. The design of this chair is based on a Colonial chair used by the British army in India. Compare: N.
