A pair of French Sevres style porcelain and ormulu mounted vases, circa 1870, of slender ovoid form, enamelled with a young gentleman and lady in 18th Century dress viewing a nest of chicks, the other picking fruit, a mossy lakeland landscape to reverse, signed Aly to each, flared bleu celeste and gilt necks, on circular pedestal and gilt square canted bases, with one domed cover.
