A mid 18th century Bow blue and white sauce boat having low relief moulded foliate and C scroll decoration with blue and white floral and insect sprays with ladybirds above the silver shaped rim, the interior having a cell border with floral sprays and a single insect, having a shaped handle and supported upon a raised oval foot. Length 8ins. (see illustration)
