A late George III oak and mahogany longcase clock, circa 1790, the brass dial inscribed Richard Hornby, Bantry with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials, the spandrels of urns with scrolling foliage, with an eight day hourly striking movement, the hood with broken swan neck pediment and applied brass spandrels above a glazed door flanked by columns, the body with scrolling door with brass escutcheon flanked by quarter columns raised on a base, height 210cm 83 [1/4] inches.
