Mid 19th century. The first, an ivory manju depicting a Kokusempu Riki weilding axe. Signed on the reverse, Hoichi, plus kakihan. 1 3/8in (3.3cm). The second, a wood village festival dancer in a semi-crouch with an Usofuki mask. Signed on the right rear border of his garment, possibly Homei. 1 7/8in (4.8cm).
