The first, mid 19th century, by Chuji, ivory of the temple priest Tadamori capturing the suspected oil thief. 1 3/4in (4.4cm). The second, mid 19th century, manju, two-piece wood, the front shows a lantern with inscription against a carved ishime background, the reverse bears an eight-character inscription. 1 5/8in (4.1cm). The third, late 18th century, wood of a blind masseur massaging the shoulders of a bald old man. Signed on the underside, Baigetsu. 1 1/2in (3.8cm).
