A group of three ivory netsuke.
Tokyo, Mid/late 20th century. The first, A dog licking his raised paw, the eyes are inlaid in amber horn. Signed 'Ikko Masakoku". 1 3/4in (4.6cm). The second, attributed to Hideyuki, the lantern ghost of Oiwa, the eyes are inlaid in amber and the urna is inlaid in black horn. 3in (7.6cm). The third, by Yasufusa, a seated Rabbit scratching its ear, eyes double-inlaid in amber (or horn). Signed in a polished reserve, I.N.C.S. 1975 Yasufusa, plus in another polished reserve, 12. 1 1/4in (3.3cm). Provenance: The first, Ex Scott Meredith collection.
