The first, late 19th century, in ivory, Kikujido, the chrysanthemum boy, writing the sacred words on the leaves of a chrysanthemum in a large pot. 1 1/2in (4cm). The second, early 19th century, in wood, the legend of Tadamori and the oil thief, showing the hapless servant that he surprised walking in the rain holding a kasa and an oil pitcher. 3in (7.6cm). The third, mid 19th century, in marine ivory, General Takenouchi-no-Sukune sitting on a rock and holding the child Emperor Ojin. 1 3/8in (3.5cm).
