A great personal lot of three items from the early 1700s in England consisting of a long stem smoking pipe in a fancy brass inlaid wood pipe case along with a brass pipe tamp and a last will and testament, hand written by one Roger Lacy, dated July 27, 1736 and consisting of 5 pages. The pipe and case are approx. 9” overall and in good condition showing years of use; the brass bound and inlaid wood case is expertly accomplished. The tamp is approx. 2” overall and cast in the form of a hand holding a smoking pipe similar to the one in this lot. A rare find. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
