A good George III mahogany and inlaid tea caddy, circa 1785, the hinged rectangular cover inlaid with an oval satinwood and rosewood medallion, burr yew spandrels opening to reveal two lidded slide out canisters, harewood and rosewood crossbanded, the sides with star inlay, brass handle, height 15cm x width 22cm, 6 inches x 8 1/2 inches.
