A fine quality drilling made by J.P. Sauer for Charles Daly in Prussia circa about 1900 -1915, serial #91641. The gun shows 28” barrels in 12 gauge choked improved cylinder right, improved modified left. Rifle barrel.30 and not marked but presumed to be 30-30 Winchester (should be checked by gunsmith before firing). The gun shows engraved side plates in fine scrolls with cocking indicators side lever for cocking rifle, flip up tang sight and select checkered walnut stock with rounded pistol grip. The gun is finely blued and brightly case hardened and 90-95% of this finish remains. The stocks are very good plus to near fine with sharpcheckering and a couple of minor marks. The gun locks tight and the bores are excellent and the gun has seen little use. The stock measures 14-1/8” to the end of the horn butt plate. The gun is very crisp overall withbright case hardening.
