A fine quality George III mahogany bureau decorated with crossbanding and inlaid fruiting vine foliate swags and ribbons, the crossbanded fall-flap opening to reveal a baize lined writing surface, a pair of cupboards, the doors painted with the coats of arms of possibly Carpenter and Vincent families, pigeon holes and short drawers, four long graduated drawers below fitted moulded brass leaf pattern handles, raised on splay bracket feet, 45in. x 43in. high.
