A fine pair of Vienna porcelain vases and covers, circa 1875, of compana form, enamelled with titled classical scenes of "Bacchus and Ariadne", the other painted with Ceres, within gilt beaded cartouches, on a raised gilt and pink salmon ground, a cherub vignette to the reverse of each, on square pedestal bases with classical figure reclining and a cherub, domed covers with gilt cone finials, gilt scroll handles, blue painted city shield marks and titled in black to base, height 46cm, 18 inches.
