A fine early 20th century grand piano by Asherberg Perzina, in a neo classical satinwood and crossbanded case decorated with six oil painted Kauffmann style panels of cupids and maidens in landscapes, one signed Henmann, London 1910, on a giltwood base with Greek key and urn frieze and six reeded legs, with lacework and acanthus leaf ornament, the pedals surmounted by a carved two handled urn with flambeau finial; length 6ft.8ins. width 5ft, height 3ft.4.5ins. Perzina Brothers were established in 1871 in Germany and are now based in Lenzen. This piano has been in the same family for over 80 years and by repute only two were ever made to this design, the other being in Malta and made of rosewood. £20,000-25,000
