A division three Motiwala pictorial enamel button
1 Large 20th century enamel pictorial with a scarce paste border. The Motiwala Brothers of India were entrepreneurs in the 1950's and 60's and were commissioned by American collectors and dealers to create some incredible buttons in a variety of techniques. The most popular of those techniques were the transfers on enamels taken from various depictions on greeting cards, magazines and other material. The designs used ranged from Religious subjects, to children's stories and much more. This example of the "Last Supper" is one of those harder to find examples as it has a brilliant crystal paste border. The paste border examples come up for sale very infrequently and this is an opportunity for you to own one now. Don't pass it up as we said they are e very hard to come by.
