1 Large medium 18th century copper example. Here is a very cool design and shape for an 18th century copper button. The intricate design shows an 8 pointed star center surrounded by 2 inner borders of circle designs then a rope twist border and finally a more unusual scalloped circle border. Very cool button. The From the collection of the late Dorothy Peterson of Virginia and a member of the Martha Washington Button Club.
