A division one scarce oval engraved metal button
1 large medium 18th C. Sheffield silver plated copper example. This button is not only considered a rare example of 18th century copper because of its oval shape but it is also rare because the edge is fluted and the copper is plated with silver. A very unusual medium size example which also makes it scarce for the size. Some scratches on the surface but much prettier and unusual in person.

Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
