1 Large 19th century "Liverpool" transfer example in metal. Here is a larger than normal "Liverpool" transfer button on porcelain set in metal, Here the detail is incredible and the gold and a little bit of color accents highlight the design. These examples are the Rolls Royce so to speak of this sort of button. The name Liverpool transfer was coined by the button collecting world a long time ago as the technique is similar to artistry work crafted in Liverpool England in the 19th century, however the buttons were most likely created in France or some other European country. Notice the wildcat helmet on this guy, very, very cool.

Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
