1 Medium 19th century "BIG HAT" lady with paste jewels. This stunning colorful example of hand painting in the 19th century depicts an elegant young lady wearing a large vibrant blue hat. The detail is very fine right down to the rouge on her face. The painting was done on natural material, set under glass and mounted in a pierced scalloped bordered silvered brass mounting with six sections on the border of 2 clear and one sapphire blue pastes.
